So I booked a F&W culinary event at the Festival Center for $15.00 each but 2 of our friends can't go.
I booked for 4 but want to modify to 2. Disney said that policy prohibits any modification or cancellation.
Yes, that is their policy. Sometimes you can get it changed but I wouldn't count on it. I have had even more pricey events I have had to find someone else to give them to because they wouldn't cancel/refund per their policy.
This is what I was going to suggest. See if there is a DISer that is going to be there at the same time and will "buy" your extra tickets. You never know you might make some life long friends.
Call back and ask for a supervisor. The regular CM's you get cannot do this but a supervisor can. I have booked a culinary event in the past and cancelled.
I know when I booked mine I had to listen to the whole if you book this you can not cancel and we will refund spiel and then had to agree to it. I'll admit I didn't really listen the third time I called but I'm pretty sure they give the spiel and you have to say yes if you call. Not sure what happens if you book on line.
