Need to modify my bounceback dates

I booked bounceback in Sept 2011 for 2 rooms 8 nights with free dining for this Sept. My DS & DIL will only be able to come for 5 nights. If I change the check in date to 3 nights later will I have to re book, will I still get the free dining? Thought I would check with my DIS friends before calling Disney because you guys always know the correct information.

I have been able to change my bounceback dates with no problem. It is just a matter of the bounceback being available for those dates.

If the check in date 3 days later is still within the FD period, then it won't be a problem taking the first 3 nights off. If you were originally checking in on the last or second to last day of FD, checking in that 3rd day would void the FD and you would lose it.
