We are planning a trip to coincide with my son's Easter hols from school(3 weeks) and I would just like to know from anyone who has been at that time of year what is it like?!!! Crowds? Weather? Opening hours?!!.

We plan on spending some time at WDW and then some time at Vero!

Please help me prepare!!!!

P.S: We usually travel in Oct/Nov or Dec if that helps for comparrisons!!!

The only park that was crazy all week was MK. We did note that at Epcot Testrack filled up fast. The hours are good as they open late, had very parade and show. We just found it overall very busy but we managed ok. Last year weather was high 70's low 80's. 2002 it was 90's

We did Easter-time for the first time last year. It is certainly more crowded than November, but we had no problems. We made sure to arrive at the parks early so we could get on all the popular rides before the crowds showed up. Once the park started filling and lines stretched out, we did the second-rank attractions or left to go to the pool for the afternoon. With this strategy and fastpass, we got to do everything we wanted.

The great thing about this time of year was the incredible energy in the parks and the late hours. Everything is open and running, and it's a great feeling to be in the MK at midnight. On a couple of occasions we headed over there around 10:00 p.m. and closed the park.

We had always gone at slower times before, but I loved Easter time and wouldn't hesitate to do it again. You just have to be more organized than usual.

Were leaving in the middle of the the last week of the kid easter hols and will be at dis for 2 weeks. Looking at the park hours the day after we arrive, MK will be open untill 11pm. Then the hours drop for all parks for the rest of our hol which may suggest that crowds may be quiter. Also the 2 weeks that we are there were alot cheaper.
