Need to defect!!!

Hope it's to to just vent a little?

I post on another Disney Forum. But I really cannot get my head around why some other people cannot help but turn a thread post into a personal attack?

I understand that certain subjects are very emotive, and I am always careful to keep my information factual, and my opinion stated as just that MY opinion. I fully get that not everyone will agree with me, and to me thats ok.

But when someone asks for information, and I have provided that information, and then added what my take is on that, why then do certain individuals have to turn what you have said into something nasty, and even go to the lengths to search out information about you from other posts just to attack you?

I rarely quote others posts as I really do not wish to "pick on" a person, but like many, I want there to be a rounded conversation, which often means a difference of opinion.

I usually don't take these things personally, but tonight it has made me quite cross.

There are some sections on the board where its just as bad but us UK lot aren't so bad
