for our end of June trip. It's going to be me, dh, our 3 kids (2, 8 and 12) and my 28 yr old brother. How do I go about coming up with a ride schedule? We are looking at doing MK for 2 days and either MGM or Universal (sorry, lol...i'm sure that's a bad word here) one day.

Check out the book The Unofficial Guide to WDW. They outline "touring plans" according to what will get crowded first, etc. It maximizes your time and helps planning. You will have to mesh the needs of your group (2 yo needs vs. 12 yo needs) by skipping rides or using the baby swap option (allows some adults to ride while one adult stays with baby and, when the first set of adults returns, the second goes quickly through fastpass). The book will really help. It even has Universal info and touring plans (bad word...LOL).

We LOVE universal/IOA (especially IOA) but, have not been since we have had Ds (age 19 mos). There really isn't a lot he can do or would like. I would suggest doing MGM with the 2 year old. Although the older kids would probably love the other.
