When SW released their May schedule I jumped on it and booked the flights I needed for our upcoming Disney cruise. Dh and I now decided that since we will be in the Orlando area and do have active AP's, we should just add a couple days to our trip and do WDW too!

Now I need to change our return flight. What do I do? Do I just cancel the return portion and get a credit, then rebook the return flight with the new date? The new return date flight is $289 less than our original return flight. I can't cancel the departing flight becuse there are no more $79 rates left and I want to keep that rate.

What is the best way to handle this whole situation. I know someone out there will have an answer for me! :)

You do not need to cancel your initial reservation, go to the southwest website to travel tools, then click on change air reservation, it will ask for your confirmation # and the name on the credit card and this will then bring you into your reservation. You should then be able to go to the portion you want to change and then if that price is cheaper will will get a creditvoucher, if the returning flight is higher you will be charged the difference
