Need To Change Disneyland Reservation

Hello everyone!
My wife and I finally settled on our dates for a trip to Disneyland. We went ahead and made the reservations with Member Services yesterday for a 7 day stay at the Grand Californian.

This morning I come to find out that there is an event that might impact our dates and now I need to change them (yep, just one day after making them).

So, will I have any issues in sliding our dates forward or backwards a few days? I'm not looking to cancel or move the use of the points into the next use year.

Please tell me that this will not be a problem....

As long as there is availability and there is no difference in the points requirements, there shouldn't be any problem.

Thanks! That is what I thought. I was looking at the dvcmembers.com site and there is lots of info about changing reservations at a WDW resort when using points but only about cancelling when staying at a DL resort.

I'm calling first thing tomorrow morning to make the change. I'll let you all know how I make out.

Called Member Services first this this morning and had no problem changing to the dates that would work for us. Now hopefully we won't have any issues that will impact these dates.

Now I can start getting excited for a trip to Disneyland!
