So after all of your help I have decided to change my dates, now I did purchase the 'Cancel for any reason' insurance so I think I am good, now I want to cancel my exisiting booking and re-book a different one, but I cannot find the option Online, am I missing somthing?

Thanks again!

If you go to your cruise, there is a "modify" link. If you do that, you can change the date of the cruise without even cancelling the one you have. I've done it before and it's simple. :) (Well, I'm assuming you didn't use a TA in which case they would have to do it.)

eta: Also I'm assuming you're not inside the PIF date for the cruise...

I am so blind... thanks! Done! Kinda sad that I had to cancel that heavenly 7 day cruise on Fantasy but I am very excited to have a 100% sure vacation booked!

It's ok! :) It took me a while to figure it out myself.

Make sure you contact your travel insurance provide and let them know you have changed the dates for your cruise and would like the insurance to remain in effect. -- Suzanne

... I did purchase the 'Cancel for any reason' insurance ...

I only got the insurance from DCL so that was no problem

Just to clarify, the insurance offered through DCL is not technically "cancel for any reason" coverage. The "insurance" portion does have very specific (and somewhat limited) covered reasons. However, DCL adds on an extra that if the insurance denies your claim DCL will give a credit towards another cruise. I think it's 75% now (used to be 100%) and I believe the time limit is within one year, though if you were to need that please double-check.

Prior to PIF date, insurance doesn't matter because the deposit and any other amount paid is fully refundable anyway.

Enjoy your cruise!

Thanks a lot for that info, I didnt have to cancel just Modify like Dug720 said.
