What are your thoughts of bringing your own towels from home so that you can go to the pool and/or Castaway Cay or other water activities? Does the stateroom supply enough DRY towels for numereous wet activites during the day or do you get ONE bath towel for the day and that's it? On theLAND portion hotels, do you need to keep requesting new dry towels too?

You DO NOT need to bring towels from home! There are plenty of towels by the pool areas. You can get as many as you need.

On 'land days' there are CM's handing out towels as you leave the ship. They are just bath size towels. You are just asked to return them. There is a huge bin to put them in before you board the ship. They are just bath size towels but beach towels take up a lot of room in your suitcase.

Nlum, if you have a land/sea package and mean does your WDW resort give you plenty of towels....yes, there are plenty there as well as on the ship. Don't waste valuable packing space with towels. :)

Everyone is right - there is no need to bring any beach towels. Unfortunately we forgot to pick up our towels on St. Thomas Day, but downtown St. Thomas there is a flea market and we bought 3 beach towels for $10.00. We used those and brought them home as souveniers.
