re: "It's a secret" post...Wow so many comments, ideas and other surprise/secret trips to Disney.

I need a small something for my Mom to give our girls when she let's them know we are all actually going to Disney not just taking Grandma to the airport.

Any pixie dust ideas?

Any chance you have time to get a couple of trading pins with their favorite character on them?

Maybe a small Disney Christmas tree ornament?

If not how about a card with spending money (if you are doing that) with a note saying they can only spend it at Disney?

You may want to videotape the excitement! There are some great youtube videos of people getting surprised with trips, Disney cruises, etc.

But back to your question....I like the jammie idea, so they can wear them at the hotel!

How about a gift basket, packed airport friendly, with Disney goodies in it, to entertain them on the flight. Then, you can just chuck it all in an extra carry on bag to carry off the plane.

We surprised my two DD's a couple of years ago with a trip to Disney. When we picked them up at school, we had a t-shirt waiting on each of their seats in the car. The t-shirts had a picture of Mickey flying a bi-plane with the words:

SURPRISE!! We are flying to Disney World - RIGHT NOW!

I made the t-shirts using a picture I downloaded from the internet and printed onto an iron on sheet (from Michael's). Then just ironed it on a cheap bright colored tee. It was sooo cute and they were sooo surprised. Then they wore the shirts on the plane and everyone on the plane and in WDW commented all that day. What a precious memory that is!
