Need tips on HP lines

You can't see the person next to you while you're riding, so there's no reason to not do the singles line. The first time through, though, tell them you'd like to do the tour, and at the end of the tour, they'll give you the option of riding single. If you just do the single line, you miss most of Hogwarts, and it's very worth seeing.

It's not officially okay I suppose. However, if you ask the TM nicely and the singles queue is not busy, they may let you. It's not that big a deal to go around again and re-enter the singles queue as intended either.

The TM just past the lockers will open the tour queue for you if you ask. It starts there.

You'd only need to stow the bag in a locker if you are riding.

No bags that hang over your shoulder are allowed. The only bags allowed are fanny packs.

Yes and the rest of the coasters and MIB as well.

I use a very small wallet type bag on a strap and that was fine on all rides. Same with lanyards.

My wife and I went through on the tour, and the person at the end of the line actually asked us if we wanted to ride as singles, or if we were just taking the tour. It wasn't very busy, so perhaps that's why, but it would have been presented to us as an option regardless.

I've been through castle tour three or four times and have never been asked by the TM at the exit. I will admit to asking myself once to do child-swap at the end and the TM kinda reluctantly let us do that. It wasn't busy. In any event, it's not any trouble to go around again either.

Sorry to jump in, but what exactly is the castle tour? My son is a HP FREAK, but my DD isn't tall enough to ride most things (she is 40"). So we can just walk through and not ride anything? TIA
