Hello. Need help with planning a MK day for just me any my 4 yo son. We will have a second MK day with my sister and nieces but I am planning our first day for just us two. So I just want to do things he enjoys. (He does not like the dark rides or thrill rides). I will do those on the day we go back with my sister. I just need help with timing for the rides I've listed. Do you think we could get 2 rides on the first couple of rides which are his fave? Then we will use FP for other rides. Any help with timing help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

Going July 12 Most recommended day

805am BOG ADR--go straight to speedway as soon as they will let us

Speedway X 2
Dumbo X 2
*is the multiple rides doable on these? How long should I allow for each if do multiple rides?
Petes sideshow-do both sides if short wait (how long?)
Train to Main entrance
Meet Mickey (FP)
Meet Tinker Belle- would we need FP?
walk through gift shops If time
Magic carpets (FP)
Lunch Columbia Harbour House
Riverboat
Tom Sawyer Island
Country Bears
Watch Parade from Fronteirland or do FP for parade
Leave for the day

Thanks again for any and all help! Just trying to plan a fun day for my DS4.

For the Speedway plan on 20+ minutes per ride with a 4 minute ride duration per ride
For Dumbo 10 minutes per ride with a 2 minute ride duration per ride

Those times are approximate of course but just to give you a sense of how long it will take.
I don't know about Pete's
Don't do gift shops so early, go to the gift shops on your way out.

Thanks for the info. I will take advice about gift shops and save for before we leave. Thanks again!!

I would think you should have plenty of time to get all of that done, particularly if you have an 805 ADR. I think you can consider adding even more. Or just keep the list as is with those expectations and be pleasantly surprised you are able to meet additional characters or hit other low-wait rides.

You can definitely get in multiple rides on speedway and dumbo if you are hitting them first thing.

Plan around a 20 minute wait for each side of Pete's sideshow. You meet Goofy & Donald on one side and Minnie & Daisy on the other. The lines could be much shorter, but I'd say 20 minutes is a conservative #.

If that really is your entire list I'd plan a FP+ for Tinkerbell but change it to Speedway later if you don't need it at Tink. :)

No need to do gift shops early unless it's hot and you want a break from the sun.

I'm surprised you aren't doing the TeaCups or Carousel? Your nieces must like those rides maybe?

He's going to LOVE Tom Sawyer Island. Plan plenty of time for that.

Definitely watch the parade from Frontierland. Grab a snack/drink to relax with. I wouldn't bother using a FP+ for the parade.

If he likes Toy Story, consider adding a meet and greet with Woody and Jessie over by Splash Mountain. :)

Thanks for info everybody. He loves the teacups and carousel but unfortunately I don't (bothers my equilibrium). Luckily he will get to ride both those with his cousins on our second MK day.

You can take the WD RR around the park and that gives peeks at and info for some of the rides also. So maybe would spark his interest while he is riding the train.
