Looking for some time management advice from some Disney pros. We are staying at the Pop. I’m wondering how long it will take us to get to the following restaurants.

O’Hana (Poly) @ 6:35 pm

CRT @ 8:10 am

Hollywood & Vine @ 8:00 am

Tusker House @ 8:00 am

Akershus @ 8:00 am

Crystal Palace @ 8:05 am

Via Napoli (Epcot, Italy) @ 7:00 pm

Chef Mickey’s @ 5:00 pm

And last but not least…

From Magic Kingdom to Chef Mickey’s @ 5:05 pm

TIA!

Allow at least an hour if taking the bus as you will have to transfer busses at some point. (except for the ones in parks.) Still allow an hour to get to the ones in parks to allwo for walking from the entrance to the restaurant

You can walk there in 10-20 minutes. Allow 20-30 minutes for the monorai just to be safe.

TIA!

You've got a fabulous line-up of ADR's there! How very fun! :goodvibes

The general rule of thumb if you're using Disney transportation is to allow 1.5 hours just to be on the safe side. I have found that the the transportation wizard at Our Laughing Place is really wonderful for giving you pretty accurate times for getting place to place.

My one recommendation for a cab, if your budget allows, would be the morning that you have your CRT ressie. I would take a cab from Pop to the Contemporary Resort & then either walk or take the monorail over to MK. If you make sure to allow the 1.5 hour travel time, you'll be fine using Disney transportation.

Have fun!

Oh wow!! Glad I asked. I was thinking 30 to 45 minutes. Does the fact that we are going during one of the traditionally slowest weeks of the year make a difference?

Because you're going at a slow time, you might be able to whittle it down to an hour, but (and I assume you're using bus service) I would suggest at least an hour no matter where your reservation is. If you get there early, you might get to eat early. It's better to be safe than sorry.;)

The only exception I would make is Chef Mickey's. From monorail line to CR, it shouldn't take more than 30 minutes or so, especially if you say your going during a slow time.

If you are talking about going from Pop to the restaurants, I would assume 45 minutes if you're going in the morning to a park breakfast, otherwise 1h (in the morning). For evening, assume 1.5h. The one exception I see is Akershus where it will take you 15m of walking to get there from the front gate as well.

Honestly, the morning busses are a lot faster, especially at that early hour you'll probably have the bus to yourself!

They are all ONE BUS from Pop (some with a monorail transfer)- so I would say leave 45 minutes to an hour prior and you will be fine.

MK to Chef Mickey - take the resort monorail to the Contemporary - leave 15 minutes prior.

Remember too, that in a slower time, bus interval times might tend to be a bit longer.

Have a wonderful time making those lifetime first-time memories with your family.

Thank you all for your help. We are counting down the days, weeks and months til we go!
