Hello All,

I have been off this site for a very long time. Sadly!

Going to FL week of 10/23. I know things have changed so much since we went last so looking for some inside information on what I need to do.

I "heard" that you need to make reservations now? We are staying off site at a timeshare.

I have a no expiration ticket from over 10-15 years ago, how can I use those days left?

Also any tips on getting fast passes as I know they changed too.

Any help much appreciated!!!

If it was me, I'd call to get accurate information about how to link those older tickets to your MDE. AFTER you link those tickets, then you can make park reservations for the number of days that the ticket covers. If you need to purchase additional tickets to cover your length of stay, you need to purchase those first as well, make sure they're linked to your MDE and then you can make your park reservations for those days. (Tickets are, for the most park, date specific within a range of dates depending on how many days you're purchasing....well, that got confusing!) That's why I'd call. No fast passes anymore ... find information on Genie, Genie+, and Lightning Lanes to decide if any of those fit your plans. I hope you have a great time. We're planning on being there during that time as well.

Are you familiar with My Disney Experience? Because WDW will be creating a new Genie Experience.
I hope you know WDW will be celebrating their 50th Anniversary with new fireworks at the MK and Epcot, Check the calendar for times.
I think you will find limited availabilty for Dining Reservations and Disney prefers guests to use their cellphones to make a Mobile Order in advance.
The phone number for ticketing and guest services is 1-407-939- 5277 or the Know Before You Go on disneyworld.com.
I am guessing you will have your own car.
Updated info for all aspects of a Disney trip … Do you need more info?
The Genie App is very new. So new it has not technically been launched and the date has not been revealed.
Launch date?
Cost Free for basic Genie to help with planning
and $15 to add audio and reality features per guest per day
Lightning Lane / more money add possible price surging for holidays, etc… and does not include access to the newer attractions which still require a Virtual Boarding Pass.

I have friends arriving first week of October from Arizona with no clue that Anniversary Week, don’t have dining reservations, staying off property , first time visit with three children pre-school and older…
it is a lot to explain.
Good luck
P.S. forgot to answer your actual question… you will need to link your tickets to your MDE account and then make a daily park pass reservation. I think the phone lines are open til 11 in Florida.

I once used MDE years ago!!! Seems so much has changed. I know it's the 50th Anniversary. Main reason I want to visit at least MK while we're in Florida this trip. We do not care if we make dining resizes this trip. Time to research the Genie,I never heard of this. and buying tickets and make the park ressies, Thanks so much for all the info. It's last minute decision to go to WDW, might just do 1-3 days, we're not sure yet!!! We are big riders, so as long as I get tickets and a park resizes, I will be good.

Thanks for all the great info and contact numbers!! I appreciated it!
