I'm planning a trip with my sister, my son and nephews this summer, hopefully in July 9th.
I previously lived in Orlando Florida for a yr., so I know my way around. I have my Fla. driver's license
valid. I need to get the cheapest price for two-day pass to US & IOA for 2 adults, and three kids ages
from 6-8 years. I also need to stay in a hotel. Can anyone help, I've been searching for the past two
weeks and I'm drained. My time is running out.

Thanks in advance,

Try the Florida lottery special. A two day ticket costs $48 when you present the special IOA lottery ticket.

Hi Bob,

I got the same info. from the lotto, but I was told its' until July 2.

Do you have additional info. up to when this promo is going on !

Thanks again,

:bounce: Can someone tell me where I can get more info on the lottery ticket promo ? Also if you buy them now can you use them after July 2nd ?

Thanks

Here are the official restrictions.

:( Restrictions apply which include but are not limited to: purchaser must use first day of theme park ticket on same day ticket is purchased at front gate, and must use both days of the pass by July 1, 2001; one park per day; no park-to-park access permitted. Contact Universal Orlando at (407) 363-8000 for details on all restrictions. 2-Park/2-Day ticket offer is not valid with any other specials or discounts offered by Universal Orlando during this promotional period. All prices are subject to applicable sales tax. Parking fees not included. The person presenting the non-winning ticket must be at least 18 years of age. Offer expires June 30, 2001

I guess I won't be using this !:(

Hi Npal,

I was just reading a message posted on the boards in ref. the Fla. lottery.

www.flalottery.com

Check it out, but it's until June 30th. That's a big bummer for me, it just won't work for me !

I called the # listed on the lotto web site and they told me that it is park-to-park access. The web site is not updated to show that, but I asked several different ways to make sure we understood each other!

I can help on the hotel.

I stay at the Comfort Inn Maingate South. It's located at I-4 and US-27, just 10 minutes from the park. Rates here are $44 a night, versus the $80+ on International drive. Goto www.comfortinn.com and look up the city of Haines, then get the listing and you'll see it.
Nothing fancy here, just regular rooms, they do have free breakfast in the lobby (just added it) and a regular pool.
Book online using the internet rate now, don't wait until you go because the price will be higher.

You'll save alot of money staying here.

I've tried getting a NON-WINNING ticket (because you can' t use it unless it's a non-winning one). Won free lottery tickets, 2.00, etc. The odds of getting a winning ticket are 1 in 3 according to the sign where I got some tickets. So....I'm giving up. (I already got my tickets through ticketmania, but thought I would give it a shot anyways).
