Need tickets for MNSSHP

Hi,

We are from Belgium and flying in on october 30th! I was ready to book tickets (nov 1st) for the party yesterday, but it appeared that is has been sold out! It wasn't the day before!

We are so disappointed right now. I am a single mom, traveling with my 7 year old son.

Is there anywhere we could find 2 tickets for this date? Any other boards, topics..? Cause I have no idea where to look.

I am not aware of any place where you can find them for sale. They are non transferable I do believe (unlike regular park tickets). Is there any way you can change your dates and arrive early enough for the party on the 29th? If not, I would suggest spending some time at Fort Wilderness or other places that might offer Halloween activities.

You can buy them on EBay (at least for the 31st) but they aren't cheap!!!

They are non transferable I do believe (unlike regular park tickets).

To be clear, all WDW are marked "non-transferrable."

It means that an active ticket can only be used by one individual person.

But any new, never-used ticket can be bought by one person and gifted or sold to another
person before it is activated.

I was in the same predicament as you. I needed 1 additional ticket for my mother on 11/1, who decided the day they sold out that she wanted to go to the party with us. I posted a plea for anyone selling tickets on a facebook planning page (search Disney World November planning group), and was able to coordinate with a friend who's husband is in the military. Apparently, military families can buy tickets for a sold out party (with the exception of 10/31) on the day of the party. I was able to coordinate a meet up with her to buy our 1 additional ticket so I am thrilled! So it may be worth posting on a planning page - a good Samaritan may offer to help you out.

Ebay prices are just ridiculous!

Here in our country it is forbidden to resell tickets on Ebay for such high prices. People just sell them to get lots of money out of them.

Is there any chance if showing up in the morning to get just 2 tickets at the gate?

We have a member of the military traveling in our party and am pretty certain any/all military tickets require military ID to enter. Just be sure to enter the park with your military "friend," or there's a good chance you will be denied access.

Also, I believe MNSSHP military tickets are limited to approx 50 per party...

Can anyone confirm that military can for sure get tickets that day? When I called they told me this was only for select party dates in September. I know they're notorious for giving out bad info but I bought full priced tickets because I didn't want to chance getting there and not being able to get tickets.

OP, I'm asking DH to call and inquire. If they confirm that we can get day of military tickets, I'm hoping we can cancel our current tickets for that date and get a refund. I'll post here if this happens because that should free up three tickets for that night.

No, I'm afraid not. When they're sold out, the secondary market is your only option.

Yes, the way I read it was that you could buy discount tickets in advance for those days. But that you could get discount tickets onsite for all dates including sold out parties (except 10/31). When I called however the cast member told me that was not the case. But it sounds like others in here are saying that my initial understanding was correct (i.e. I can get discount tickets onsite the day of the 11/1 party). Either way, I have DH calling to inquire so hopefully he can get some clarification.

it's 5 tickets (besides the one for the military member)
