Please confirm that you are required to purchase a ticket to Epcot to make a reservation and dine at the restaurant in France. Someone told me that if you have a confirmed dinner reservation you did not need a park pass, but that doesn't sound right to me.

Thank you.

You are correct. You need a park ticket to be admitted for an ADR.

You're right - you need park admission to get to any restaurant inside a park, including one in France. The only restaurants you can dine at without park admission are in resort hotels. :thumbsup2

I'm not sure about the online reservations, but if you are making a dining reservation by phone you will be told that you must have valid park entry to get to the restaurant.

I don't disagree, but you can eat at Rain Forest Cafe at AK. It is outside the park at the entrance.

Side Note - The restaurant actually has an entrance into the park inside, so if the main entrance seems intimidating, go into the gift shop area and enter the park from there.

It says it on the checkout page under Guest Policies. It says "Theme Park admission required for this experience".
