need ticket advice please(Universal)

We really want to go to Universal Studios. Of the 2 parks we would enjoy this one the most. Can we do it in one day during the Summer or not? Should I buy my passes now
or does it matter? Ticketmania has 2 day for $94,1 day $52.
How long is the drive(I'll have a car) from WDW to Universal?

You can see Universal in one day in the summer as long as it isn't too crowded; you may not be able to do it on July 4th weekend.

No need to buy the tickets now but Ticketmania has a good reputation. If you like the price, go ahead. The drive is less than 20 minutes, depending upon where you are starting in WDW.

I've not been in the summer, but my feeling is that you won't get to do everything at Universal Studios park in one day.

I would buy your tickets now from Ticketmania, just to get a deal on them.

As for the drive, in the off-season it took all of about 10 minutes.

Try posting over on the Universal site--you'll get a lot of good advice.

In order to really see all the park in one day you should stay in an onsite hotel because you will get your magic room key which will give you front of the line access. One night onsite will give you two days of FOTL, which bypasses most lines (usually a 15 minute wait at most on a busy day with FOTL).
