Hi DisBoards! Long time no see! We are a family of 3, Mom, Dad, and 2-year-old. We are taking a Disney Cruise in September and have decided to stay 2 nights at the Pop Century before leaving. My little guy LOVES the Barnstormer and kept saying he would ride it in September when he goes to Mickey Mouse's house. We broke down and decided to make sure that dream came to true for him. We've done Disney every way you can think of, and I know how to score great discounts on multi-day tickets. However, I've never done just a single day in a single park. Is there any way to get discounted tickets to just one park for a single day. If I go through Disney, which I may have to do, the tickets are $202 for one day in MK! (My first 4-day park hopper cost $165--those were the days). Sorry for being so long winded and thanks in advance!

Have you tried undercover tourist? Many people on these boards recommend them.

Thanks for replying! Yes, they are my usual go-to, as I subscribe to Mousesavers. However, their discounts begin at a 3 day ticket, and they are actually higher than Disney for single day and 2 day tickets (they disclose this on the site). :confused3

No discounts for single day tickets. Sorry.

Sounds like you are frequent visitors...So my best advice would be to invest in a 10 day non expiring tickets (set of for you, dh AND 2 year old (because he/she won't be 2 likely the next time you use them)).

It is very pricey upfront, but WAY worth it if you envision yourself doing additional 1 and 2 day visits in the future.

We always buy 7 day expiring as part of a package when we go for a full week. But when we go for a day or two as part of another trip (conference, a Universal AND Disney trip, etc) - using the non-expires is WAY cheaper ($40 per day). We get the 10 day hopper and WPM...Makes for 20 park visits and brings down the cost per day considerably.

There have I think twice been single day tickets available at a reduced rate with a donation to the Florida Children's Hospital (I think they were like $75.) Of course there's no way of knowing if anything like that MIGHT happen between now and then, but I'd keep an eye on their page just in case.

Thanks for your input, everyone. I suspected that there wouldn't be any discounts. We will probably just purchase annual passes. This is our 3rd Disney trip since December, so it makes the most sense economically. Thanks again!

Only option would be to use your Redcard at Target and buy Disney gift cards to purchase the tickets.

Disney does not discount one or two day tickets. Period. And they do not have wholesale prices for them for the authorized resellers.

If an authorized reseller purchases them they are as a convenience for their customers and will actually charge a premium over Gate Price for this convenience.
