I was unable to book the Coronado for our entire 10 day stay. First day is not available. I verified with a cast member on the phone.
I am thinking we can stay the first night at a Disney Springs resort and switch to CSR the next day.

We kind of liked our stay at The B on our last trip. So should we stay a few days at The B and then go to CBR for the remainder? Or should we do the 1/9 night split. Just seems like a lot to check in and move just for one night.

I keep going back and forth with this. Need your advice, please.

Thank you.

And oh, I have reserved the 9 nights at CBR for the time being.

I would go ahead and book something to have it, but I would also keep calling back to see if another night opens up at CSR.

Thank you, Hopefully and ginny65. I will stick with the 1/9 plan. We can uber to Coronado the next morning, store our bags if room isn't ready, head to the parks, and be done with it. When we get settled at The B we can spend time at Disney Springs, which is a nice walk.
Thanks again!
Oh and I will keep calling back. Ya never know if there is a cancellation. :)

Update FYI: I checked CSR availability for 6/29 on my notebook and found nothing available for that day.
Then just for kicks I checked on my phone, used the dates of the entire stay, and got a standard view room, which is what I wanted. I jumped on it, made reservation, then cancelled the shorter one.
Weird.
