We had to cancel our trip this past October due to my DH injuring his ankle, and due to DVC points, had to reschedule by the end of January. So we will be going 1/22-27 and staying at SSR.
We are ready to just relax and do as much or as little as he is up to, and if we don't get to any parks, so be it. However, I think I may need some help coming up with alternate dining arrangements a couple of nights.

Our dining schedule is as follows right now:

1/22 - bar hopping between Fulton's, Portobello(?) and Raglan Road
1/23 - eating/drinking around the World Showcase
1/24 - Cape May Cafe
1/25 - somewhere in DTD (HOB, WPC, etc)
1/26 - Jiko (b'day dinner)

So DH says that the 1st night is non-negotiable and he will limp along to get at least to Fulton's. Cape May and Jiko shouldn't be issues. I am thinking we should have a contingency plan for the WS night and the 2nd DTD night.

One night we may 'stay in' and order Giordano's, but I'd like suggestions for both nights of somewhere that isn't that expensive (trying to stay away from Signature restaurants this trip) and is somewhat accessible. Offsite recs would be welcome too if they fit this criteria. Some places that came to mind were the Wave and Turf Club.

Also, we will hit our usual hot spots for lunch (Olivia's and Captain's Grille are 2 definites, maybe Artist's Pallette...RIP Concourse Steakhouse) and breakfast we usually have something in the room. However one lunch we have scheduled at the Plaza Restaurant we may not make if we do not go to MK that day.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...Thanks!

Hi luv!

So glad that you and DH are able to make a trip...we will be there the same time as you, Jan 21-25 but with 2 kids in tow this time.

We too are going back to Fultons! I have always wanted to try Raglan...Flying Fish is awesome, Cape May and Jiko are both amazing too

Try Tutto...it is incredible

Whatever you decide just take it slow and enjoy....

If your DH is still "limping along" why not rent him an ECV? It would certainly cut down on his pain levels and make for a more enjoyable trip for the both of you. Check out the the DisAbilities board FAQ for tons of info about ECV rental.

What about Kona Cafe? You could even time it so that afterwards you stroll out to the beach (I think there are seats) and view Wishes.
