I need suggestions for our upcomming trip in November. We are looking for restaurants for Universal and IOA. In IOA we were thinking about Thunder Falls (is it still there?) We do not want to eat at Mythos though even though I have heard rave reviews, we have seafood allergies in our party. I have no ideas for Universal though so please help!!!!

At IOA, check out: Thunder Falls Terrace, The Enchanted Oak and Confisco's.
At the Studios, check out: Louie's, Lombard's and Finnegan's.

Mythos has many non seafood offerings. Lombards is mostly all seafood. Thunder Falls is open as of right now. Its not a full service restaurant like Mythos, Confisco's, Lombards and Finnegans. You can see some menus at these websites.

Just as a quick comment, I have a life-threatening seafood allergy and was able to dine at Mythos. It was one of the best meals I've ever had in a theme park, bar none.

Within walking distance is City Walk....lots of good places there too! My personal favorite there is MARGARITAVILLE!! :thumbsup2 We also ate at Pat O'Briens (very good) and Bubba Gump's recently opened. Not sure why you only asked about restaurants in the parks, you are AT CityWalk when you enter either park....so, keep your options open! :thumbsup2

and if your gonna make a trip to citywalk you might as well try nba city, Nascar Cafe, or Hard Rock Cafe all of which are EXCELLENT in my opinion. in Universal my family LOVES Mels

If your thinking of skipping Mythos, just because of the sea-food allergy I'd beg you to reconsider. It's a spectacular restraunt with many non-seafood options (you should also be able to call ahead of time to confirm ingredients, or such if you like). No one in my group will eat seafood (although I'm the only one allergic (just to shellfish)) but we all love it...especially their ceasar salad (yeah yeah...boring...but I love it :) ).

I'd also like to suggest Monster Cafe in Universal (the food is pretty typical theme park fare...although the pasta primevera's a nice change from burgers), the atmosphere is very cool (unless you have little one's who might get scared...altghough there is also outdoor seating).

Louie's (also in Universal) is a pretty good italian/pizza restraunt, where you can get large pizza (cheese, pepperoni or veggie) to split with you group (we usually get a ceasar salad or to, also). (They also have pretty decent pasta dishes...nothing unusual...but even picky kids are usually happy with spagghetti and meatballs or a slice of pizza). There's also a Starbucks in Louie's.

Lombard's isn't bad...but if you don't like seafood (or can't eat it) your options are pretty limited.

Also, I second the suggestion for Enchanted Oak (at Islands of Adventure). Definitly my favorite CS at the park.
