Need suggestions on location for Anniversary dinner

we are celebrating our 10th Anniversary at DWD with the kids in Oct/Nov 2007. I need some suggestions as to where we should go for Dinner with the kids (DD 7 & DS 4) to Celebrate.

I think we might be going the last week of October or 1st week of November.
I'm planing on doing the MNSSHP & Crique du Solei also... Do you think that might be TOO much for a 7 day trip ... not forgetting the the Wine & Food Festival is on too.

I guess I need ask--are you as interested in "entertaining" the kids as you are with the actual anniversary meal itself?? My answer will probably be different depending on how you are looking at that.

All I want is good food and maybe even some romance.... as long as the kids have some crayons to color they will be ok.

We always enjoy the california grill especially if its a night when wishes is on at magic kingdom. Our kids have always been welcomed and the food is very good. Hope this helps, Maria

For our up coming trip we will also be celebrating our anninversary (9yr) with kids. We mad ADR at Ohana's. I plan on suprising DH and ordering a cake. I was then thinking after dinner we could go on the beach and watch the parade. (I forget what its called so I wall it a parade lol) I thought that sounded nice.

LOL - that "parade" is called the Electrical Water Pageant and it is very cool! Another great venue would be Narcoosee's at the GF. It's right on the lagoon and has a wonderful view of MK's fireworks...they even pipe in the music and turn down the lights in the restuarant. BTW you can also see the EWP from the CR, WL, GF and FW. It stops by each of these resorts at specific times each night. Happy Anniversary! And have a magical vacation!

You'll be fine then in almost ANY WDW spot. I think California Grill would be a fine spot. Also Narcoossee's. The "some romance" part would seem to eliminate O'hana..loud and lots of "carrying on " there.

I would pick Jiko or California Grill. If you go to Jiko make sure you walk outside and see the animals. I'm sure your kids would enjoy seeing them and also exploring the AKL. Happy Anniversary in advance.

we are also celebrating our 10th aniv in oct and we are dining at narcoosee's. its where we had our wedding night dinner after our noon wedding at the pavilion so we thought it would be the perfect place. we are leaving our dd8 and dd4 at the neverland club however--more fun for them and us!!!

i would recommend a couple of different places.

Artist Pointe at the Wilderness Lodge is a nice restaurant. My wife and I celebrated our first anniversary dinner there. It was a nice atmosphere and the food is good (especially the artist pointe cobbler )

We also like COncourse Steakhouse in the Contemporary Resort. It is an underated restaurant, in our opinion. It has good food, is convenient to get to and is relatively quiet compared to Chef Mickey's next door.

Both restaurants seem family friendly as well. I believe they give kids crayons,etc. to keep them occupied.

I would go for California Grill, during Wishes, or 'Ohana is good at keeping children happy and it quite nice as well as long as you are a little out the way. Jiko and Artist Point are also good, but not as much for the children to look at.
