Need suggestions for stabilizing pins in book

My DH is an avid collector of Walt pins. Many of these pins have a character attached to the frame of the pin or have other items attached to them. He had his pins in one of the pin bags but everytime he would get them out, they were a mess. The pins would twist and sometime rub against another pin and the characters would come off. So I purchased one of the pin books with the heavy, stiff felt pages with the plastic divider between them. However, the pins still move some - not quite as bad as in the pin book.

So my question, does anyone have any suggestions for making the pins stay in position on the page and not twist and turn. I thought about small pieces of velcro but wasn't sure if it would stick to the felt pages. Is there some kind of stickey substance that could be used behind the pin without using a permanent type of glue? It's nice to look as these pins but it's a pain to straighten them out everytime you turn a page. Any ideas??

You could try the following. Try to find the largest 3 ring looseleaf type binder you can the go to your local baseball/comicbook shop and get those plastic baseball card protectors some of them have 3 or 4 rows per page. Then what you do is place the pin(s) in the slot where the card usually goes with the backings off pop the pin through the plastic and secure them with the pin backs. I suggest using the yellow type of pinbacks bacause the metal type back dont hold so well and while the mickey head pin backs are better the yellow ones hold the strongest. If you are not trading and you want the strongest way of securing them use the locking pin backs. They are secured by a mini hex wrench and will stay put for good.

I have also moved to the baseball card plastic pages (usually 9 to a page) and I will not go back. You can slide the pin, card and all into the plastic page, protects the pin, card and they will not go anywhere. Every system has a disadvantage, with this one you have to purchase a 3 ring binder and baseball card pages, overall I think it is better than the traditional pin bag, one disadvantage is you will only be able to get 9 pins per page, and the binder will only hold 6-8 pages, thus a traditional pin bag has the advantage of holding more pins

As for the sticky substance, my Mom works retail and she uses this goop, it sells in the office sections. It comes on stuff at Christmas alot in gift baskets to hold stuff in, peels off, it's clear. Let me look and see if I can come up with a name for you, maybe it would work.

Thanks - that is what I am looking for. I really like the Disney books with the felt pages and don't want to have to change to another book. If you happen to come up with the name, I would appreciate it.
