Need Suggestions for 40th Anniversary

My wife and I first went to WDW in 1974 when the oldest of our 2 sons was 3. Since then we have been at least 20 times and we are now in the process of taking our grandkids. My question is: Does Disney World do anything free or comp anything for special celebrations? August 2009 is our 40th wedding anniversary and it would be great to have our sons, their wives, and all 8 grandchildren there together for the first time, but it seems the cost would be prohibitive. Does anyone know how to contact WDW HQ directly to find out if there is anything they will do? I don't want to appear to be a free-loader, I just think that a family with our "Disney history" might be of interest to them. Thanks for any help you can provide!

Please don't take this wrong because I'm just giving information. On any given day 100's if not 1000's of guests are celebrating a "milestone" of some sort. Disney cannot comp everyone when they are celebrating something special, no matter how special the celebration may be.

What they will do for free is give you and your spouse Happy Anniversary buttons that will let everyone know that you are celebrating an anniversary. This *may* get you some freebees such as a drink or dessert or maybe a fast pass or something else little. If you are staying onsite and mention the celebration at booking or check in you *may* get balloons, champange, a signed card, chocolate etc.

If you want to make sure that your celebration is acknowledged your best bet is to pay for it. Disney Florist is a great place to start especially with the new "What will you celebrate" promotion that is just underway. You can also contact Gifts of a Lifetime to see what they can do for you. Neither is free though.
