Going to WDW (again) in July. Looking to buy DD age three a lightweight stroller for the trip. She is 40 pounds, 41 inches tall. We are looking at Maclarens because they have the higher weight limits (55lbs). I am tring to choose between the volo which is cheaper but does not recline, or the triumph which has the ability to recline. DD does nap in her stroller midday and I don't know how upright the seat for the volo sits. I am concerned that she will have her head floppin forward if she falls asleep in the volo. What do ya'll think. Anyone own the triumph and have a review?

Thanks,
Shan :flower:

We just returned from WDW with our 4.5 yr dd who is 41 in and 40 lbs & our 22 month ds. We bought 2 Mac Triumph singles and LOVED them. Any specific questions?

The steering is the most awesome feature to me. I will never go back to Graco willingly.

The raincover kept them both completely dry.

The Macs were the only ones that my dd fit in comfortably.

Folding up is very easy(I did it 7 mnth pg with 22 mnth old ds in arms) and size very compact.

Basket sufficient for diaper bags or jackets.

Sunshade could be improved, but the kids had hats and sunglassses. I do wish it had a viewing window.

I would choose the recling Triumph,bc u don't know when they might want a catnap.

I give it 9/10 stars!!

i have a volo and a maclaren daytripper (predecessor of the triumph) . i would take the triumph because it has a recline and the hood. i know the hood is small but you can buy a shade extender. you can get this one at babies r us for $15

ninaeve,

Thanks for the great review! Sounds like my daughter will fit nicely into the triumph. My main concern was for her to be comfortable. Also, I did not want to pay for a stroller she would quickly outgrow. Perhaps we can get a couple years use out of this before she is too big for it!

Will go test drive one this weekend....thanks again!
