Hi! I am in need of advice, when stamping on Vellum, any tips I should be sure to follow?
I did a test run last night and it seemed that there was "too" much ink on the vellum. It looked as if it would never dry!

Do you use dye based or pigment based for vellum?

TIA,

Kathy

You'll need a heat gun to dry stamping on vellum. I use pigment with embossing power. It never dries otherwise (well I'm sure it would eventually but you know what I mean)

The last couple of times I've stampe don vellum I've stamped with stazon and it dried pretty quick but you can always heat it too. If I want color I color with sharpies on the backside of the vellum for a kindof stained glass look.

I've had trouoble printing on vellum recently. I've done it successfully before, but the last couple have sort of spread and soaked in :confused3 I've set it for transparency an everything. And I've got 2 types of tranparency, one of which dries eventually and the other smudges even after more than a day  Why does my printer hate me?;)
