I really have to prepare myself before going on Splash Mnt at WDW. I don't like the drop at all!! My stomach just can't handle it. Give me spinny things anyday!
I'm trying to come up with an agenda for US/IOA for my mother and kids. We really all don't like Splash mountain but will do it just to say we did it!
What flume/water rides at US/IOA are similar or steeper compared to SMtn?? We don't mind getting wet.....its the drop that gets us!
If I know which water/flume rides are steeper and harder on our stomachs we can avoid them!!
Thanks:bounce: :Pinkbounc:D

Jurassic Park River Adventure and Ripsaw Falls at IOA have much scarier drops than Splash Moutain. JPRA drops you into a dark tunnel. Ripsaw Falls drops you, you go down 15 feet below the water surface, and then come back up.

USF also has a water slide at Fifel's Playland, which has a much smaller drop. It's like going down a slide at a playground.

Splash Mountain's drop is tame. only about 55 ft and at a 45 degree angle. JP's is 85 ft as you escape from T-rex at about a 50 degree angle. you only get your top half wet on that one. on Ripsaw, the drop is about 75 ft and starts at a 45 degree angle, then increases rapidly to 55 degrees, to give the "ohmygodiamgoingtofallout" feeling. you get VERY wet on that one. and the FiVel's playland water slide is just a fun one. i still love it :)
