Hi everyone,
Hubby is applying for a couple of positions at the Kennedy Space Center. If he is so lucky as to land a job at NASA, where do you think we should look at living?
We have a very good idea of what areas in Orlando we might like to live in, but I'm clueless about the Space Coast area.
Joe is fine with commuting as long as it is in traffic that is flowing - he would NEVER want to live where he has to crawl along, or hit a lot of lights, on the way to work. It's a major peeve for him!
I'm confused as to where on the big barrier island the offices are for NASA. Up at the north end, by Titusville?
We've heard some nice things about Sanford, and again, a commute of up to 45 minutes is ok if it's all highway.
Thanks for any info and tips, this is exciting! He's applying for a couple of things in Orlando, too, with the Navy, but we have a pretty good idea of where in Orlando we'd like to live already (all on the southeast, south, or west sides of the city).
Trying not to get my hopes up too high...
