I have been listing here and there on eBay for the past 3 years. However, you guys have really inspired me to do more.

Last week I listed about 20 auctions. So far they are doing pretty good. :)

I really went to alot of trouble getting my HTML just right and making sure everything was attractive. I think it took me most of the evening and night. Does anyone use one of the auction launch services. I know on eBay you can pay to have the auction started at a certain time. I would really like to be able to get the auction description all fill out off line (and during the day) and then be able to go on line when I want to list them (night). Does anyone do this?? How?? I hate to keep giving all me money away in all these fees!

Also, most of the time I just put the one picture in that I can list for free with eBay hosting it. Does anyone know where I can get free image hosting? I would like to add a few more pictures to the auctions because I think they will bring more if I can show more details. Again. I trying to stay away from fees!

Thanks for all the help!
Shari

Have you tried the Turbolister on Ebay? You download it and then you can type in your auction information and save the listings. When you are ready to start you just upload the auctions at the time you want. You don't have to use the automatic launch option.

I, too, use Turbolister and love it. It's free. And as long as you're going to be home when you want to list, you never have to pay that extra .10.

Hey, I was wondering if Turbolister was free, and if it was easy to use. I will have to check this out. And Shari2shop, I am the same way! It took me a lot of time and TONS of revisions to get it just right, and I am sure that what is just right TODAY will need revisions the next time!!:D

And I finally figured out why people say to email them if you want more pics - DUH - it is only FREE to put ONE pic on your auction! If you email add'l pics then there's not an extra charge. :o

I am a new seller and have my first batch of auctions up now. It's quite exciting and nerve-racking!!

Turbolister is free. It really does make it much easier to keep things organized. Most of my auctions do well ending on Sunday nights but that is the worst day of the week for me timewise. With TL, I can work on the listings an hour here or there thru the week and then start them when I want.
It also makes listing similiar things easier, too and you can make a template of things you put in every auction- terms, shipping days, return policies, etc.

Give it a try- if you don't like it, nothing is lost.

Thanks, Padme. That was exactly my dilemma - I needed to list on Sunday, because I heard that was the best ending date. I was able to have DH do kid duty and I spent a few hours Sunday evening getting all of my listing done. I ALSO just went through and revised all of my auctions that didn't have bids to take out the "generic" PayPal sign, because it looked like I take credit cards through PayPal, which I don't want to do. BOY, was THAT exhausting. Now watch, with my luck the 3 items that I have bids on will try to pay by CC thru Paypal... Well, my payment terms are very clear - it is just the logo that's wrong!!

I down loaded the Turbo Lister thing. I played with it some last night. I have not used it to actually list an auction, yet!!

Thanks so much for telling me about it!!! I can definately see how it is going to make things much easier. I'm going to spend some time this afternoon (off line!!! YEAH) working on getting my listings just right.

Thanks for this great time and money saving ebay tip!! Without yall's info I would have never discovered it on my own!

Thanks a million!
