We are going to WDW in Feb. Our 2 daughters are 1 and 2mos. I don't really want to take our double stroller. We were thinking of putting the youngest in a baby carrier and the older in a lightweight stroller and bringing an umbrella stroller to put our 1 year old in when the baby needs the other stroller. My question is what lightweight stroller do people recommend( i don't want to spend a lot) i was looking at the jeep??? Also does anyone have any suggestions on how to attach the umbrella stroller to the other one when we're not using it? Thanks for any help

HI

I had a jeep stroller and HATED it. You couldn't steer it with one hand let alone 2! I just bought a Graco lite rider for our trip tomorrow :cool1: and so far it's GREAT. The tray on it can come off (it's been said its a bit too high for the smaller children, I'm just going to take it off...makes getting my daughter out easier.) The stroller is very light and more compact than my Grace Quattro Tour. $59 at Baby depot (Burlington Coat factory)

Good luck finding a stroller!!!

Thanks for posing this question. I too have been researching lightweight strollers for our upcoming trip. My kids will be 4 and just about 3. I looked at the Jeep, but the seat doesn't recline and the reviews have said it was "tippy". I'm looking at the Combi Flare and Britax Preview. A bit more expensive than I wanted, but would like something lightweight so I can retire our full-size Graco. Does anyone have experience with either of these strollers or the Graco IPO?

Also I've been told that this is a good time to buy strollers as the new models come out in March (I may have read it here). There are some good clearance prices to be had.

Sorry for honing in on your question 2th Fairy, but I didn't want to create another post. Hope you don't mind!! ;-)

You know, I was in the same position when my dd was 17 months, and we ended up buying a Carters stroller at baby depot that worked great for us. It was only $40 and much smaller and lighter than our Graco Metrolite (I think that's what it's called). However, I wish I had just bought a Maclaren then. The Carter's did last us many many trips to sesame place and 2 disney trips, but I could have saved $40 because my dd is too big for the carters stroller, which is falling apart anyhow. I ended up getting a Mac for our upcoming trip. I say if you plan to do Disney when your kids are older, you might as well get a Maclaren. I got the quest on albee baby for $120. Whatever you get, make sure it has some type of recline. My Carters did not recline all the way back, but enough that dd did not tip forward like she would in a regular cheapie umbrella stroller. We took the cheapie umbrella to the Jersey shore and ended up walking her on the boardwalk with the stroller tipped back on 2 wheels. Not very comfy for dh and myself.

the jeep stroller we are looking at is the Jeep sport sold at wal-mart anyone know about this one? how about any suggestions on attaching an umbrella stroller to it when the umbrella stroller isn't in use?!? Thanks so much!!princess:
