My other and I are heading down to WDW tomorrow on a whim, and I'd like to book a nice dinner that doesn't cost a lot as a surprise. We're celebrating that we both just received our graduate degrees, so I'd like it to be kind of "special." I'd like to keep it under $25 a person, and he'd like to keep it as low-carb as possible. Where can I take him? I was thinking about Biergarten for the low-carb, but it's a bit more than we should spend. Any thought?

Thanks!

First, have you checked disney dining reservations to see if any place has a table? Just did it 12 restaurants have some availability but several only at 4:10. Staying under $25 is a challenge. Chef de France has macaroni and cheese for $20. The Haceinda has a couple of dishes under $25. Best bet is the Nine Dragons which has "For Each Guest, choose Any One Soup, One Entree and One Dessert" for $24.

Check out the availability and the menus. http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/reservations/dining . Menus and prices are here. http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/dining/diningmain.cfm

May you have a wonderful time!

Check the price for Biergarten for lunch. It may be right at your desired price.

Sci Fi at HS has several lower carb entress as does Yak n Yeti at AK.

Too bad you can't swing Ohana...that's the best low carb place, but it is way over your desired budget.

Capt Jacks and Turf Club have a few entrees under $20. Don't know if you could get in w/o ressies.
