Need some of the Disney Brides creativity for a holiday project

Hi

Not a wedding related question but I need some of the Disney bride creativity with a project I am working on.

We are planning either a WDW & cruise trip or a DL & cruise trip hopefully for late next year.

A few friends/family have said they would be interested in coming but we want to start & lock something in soon as otherwise it will never happen. At the moment we are still flexible so could work in with others (& would love too), but at the same time it’s a decent trip from Australia even if we end up going to DL not WDW so want to start saving & planning.

So I was thinking of sending out a sort of a save the date package type of thing with possible trip ideas & itineraries etc. I would like it to be a fun & exciting package to get in the mail (not just a newsletter) sort of a prelude to the holiday, has anyone ever seen anything like this or have any ideas of what I could do? some of the Save The Dates you guys came up with were amazing and I really want to do somthing with a bit of WOW in it

IIRC someone did luggage tags as STDs. Could you do something like that?

Yeah I like the luggage tag / boarding pass idea but maybe once we had a confirmed plan

I wonder if you could contact DCL guest relations and get some "I'm Celebrating" buttons to mail to them? I have also seen the buttons on ebay.

We're sending "1st Visit" buttons and maps to our guests that are visiting WDW for the first time.

Who do you contact to get buttons before arriving in Disney? I think the 1st visit buttons, or even 'I'm Celebrating' would be wonderful to have for our guests as they arrive. And of course I am looking forward to the 'Just Married' buttons for myself
