I am creating a video biography for my daughter's high school graduation, birth to 18 and need some music to put the video to. Any music ideas?

Let them be Little
You are the sunshine of my life
Isn't she lovely
Just the way you are
The Wonder of You
You Raise Me Up

At the end of many of the HS montages I've seen, a lot of them play "I've Had the Time of My Life"
and at the beginning with childhood, many include Iz's version of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow".

Makes me cry everytime.

Turn Around....makes me cry everytime.

"Where are you going, my little one, little one
Where are you going, my baby, my own
Turn around and you're tiny
Turn around and you're grown"

There's a great version by Nanci Griffith.

Forever Young
Sunrise, Sunset
I Hope You Dance
Here Comes the Sun
The Best is Yet to Come
Circle of Life (I couldn't resist ;) )

I Will Remeber You by Sarah McLaughlin

It was our class song and I still tear up everytime I hear it.

I did one of these for dd's graduation last year. She and I both love the musical, Wicked, so I used two songs from that. For Good and Defying Gravity. You might also wait to add the music until her class chooses a class song if it's something she likes.

This might be a bit wild, but...go back to the charts. Pick the number one song from her birth week from each year... 1997's number one song the week of her birthday, 1998... Then just pick a verse or chorus from that song.

I've done a few of these for my son's school. My favorites were "Forever young" and "These are days" by 10,000 maniacs. I love the lyrics...

"These are days you'll remember. Never before and never since, I promise, will the whole world be warm as this. And as you feel it, you'll know it's true that you are blessed and lucky. It's true that you are touched by something that will grow and bloom in you.
These are days you'll remember. When May is rushing over you with desire to be part of the miracles you see in every hour. You'll know it's true that you are blessed and lucky. It's true that you are touched by something that will grow and bloom in you.
These are days.
These are the days you might fill with laughter until you break. These days you might feel a shaft of light make its way across your face. And when you do you'll know how it was meant to be. See the signs and know their meaning. It's true, you'll know how it was meant to be. Hear the signs and know they're speaking to you, to you."

Time of Your Life- Green Day
My Wish- Rascall Flatts

In my Daughter's Eyes, love that song
My Wish is good too

I had one for my DD we used In My Daughter's Eyes and Photograph by Nickelback

"Changes" by Tesla
"Time for Change" by Motley Crue
"If Today Was Your Last Day" Nickelback
"These Days" Rascal Flatts
"The Time of My Life" David Cook
"You're My Angel" Brooks & Dunn
"There You'll Be" Faith Hill
"You Are" Jimmy Wayne
"There Goes My Life" Kenny Chesney
"Ever Ever After" Carrie Underwood (From the movie soundtrack of "Enchanted")
"A Song for Momma" Boyz II Men

These are just some off the top of my head. When I think of more I'll send you a pm. I like all these songs for the lyrics.

They used "These Are The Days" for our senior retreat in High School (although our unofficial class song was "Only the Good Die Young.")
