Need some motivation

Today I really do need some motivation to get going. I've got a stack of boxes in my car that need to be brought in the house and filled up. But it is too cold outside for me to want to go get the boxes. Once I get them in the house I'm too tired to start packing them. At this rate I'll never get all of my stuff packed up. I'm wondering if I take today off from packing if I will feel like doing it tomorrow. I don't want every day to turn into something like today.

Since I'm going to live with my dad for a while I have to pack up pretty much everything I own and get it ready for storage. I am thankful that he is being there for me and letting me stay with him for a while until my life seems to settle down a bit and get back on track. He really seems to be looking forward to it. What is so strange about it is that I haven't lived with my dad since I was 4 or 5 years old. His wife is excited that I am going to cook for them some. At least I do have a few more weeks to get it all done.

Maybe I'll go crawl back in bed for a while where it is nice and warm and watch my soaps this afternoon. After ATWT goes off maybe I will finally find a little motivation. Maybe?

We lived with DH's parents when I got out of school until we bought our house. It was actually really nice - we had a lot of ufn together.

Come on girl!!! You can do it :) We know you can. The sooner you get up and get that stuff done, the sooner you can relax and dis :wizard:

I have to say that I have been cleaning instead of crawling in bed. Right now I am taking a lunch break.
 
I use a timer a lot to give me motivation to get things done. How about if you go get the boxes and then work on them for just 15 minutes? Then you can set the timer for another 15 minutes and sit and have a cup of tea, etc. See what you can get done in one 15 minute session.
 
It worked out well after all. I didn't stop until about an hour ago. Whew, I am tired.
