We are heading to Disney in Oct.. We've been several times over the years (although 2 of our children- this is their first trip)but this is our first time staying ON site! :) Yay! We got the deluxe dining plan and are staying 3n/4d.

I need help picking out where to eat.. HA ! Normally we stay offsite and avoid eating on Disney due to the cost so it's completely new for me to be looking at Disney restaurants.. lol!

With a 3 nite Deluxe plan, I have more meals that I can figure out so I'm trying to sort them into the 4days.. lol
So far I have booked -
Day 1-

Ohana's for supper

Day 2-

Crystal Palace for lunch

Day 3-

Hollywood & Vine for lunch
Askershus Royal Banquent Hall for supper (Princesses- yay!)

Day 4-

ok you can tell I need lots of help! I'm thinking of moving the H&V to day 4 and putting one of Epocts Italian rest. in place so I'm at the same resort for both meals..

Thoughts? Advice??

Well, since you have the Deluxe plan my advice would be to go to one signature restaurant per day and one regular. That way you get two meals. If you try scheduling three meals per day you'll go crazy running from restaurant-to-restaurant and not get to do anything.

Some really good signatures (require two credits) are:
-Jiko
-Yachtsman
-California Grill

Also, since you have kids you should totally go to Hoop De Do Review. It's an all-around favorite here on the boards and very entertaining for both adults and kids.

The food is served family style with unlimited sangria.

My DH and I LOVED Tutto Italia @ Epcot.

I second the PP's comment about doing a signature - that will help with the credits and prevent food overload. You might also consider the HDR or the Luau.

Have a blast. Sounds like a fun trip!

Day 1-

Ohana's for supper - - I personally would do signature dinning (2ts) - California Grill you might could see the fire works at MK if your ADR's are at the right time Or Yachtsmen Steakhouse and Check out the boardwalk afterwards

Day 2-

Crystal Palace for lunch - You could do Crystal Palace (1 ts)for Breakfast - try for early - nothing beat's walking down main street with hardly anyone around, and Cinderella Royal table for dinner again with a signature dinning (2 Table)

Day 3-

Hollywood & Vine for lunch - Germany for lunch - good food and fun atmosphere Chef of France another good choiceTutto is one of our must do's - when we are at the world it gets my vote !!!
Askershus Royal Banquent Hall for supper (Princesses- yay!) This is a keeper

Day 4- I would do have breakfast with Mickey and the Gang at Chef Mickeys, and maybe lunch at Sci Fi -

Not sure when you arrive? and when are you leaving? - You could switch the last day lunch for lunch on the arrival day.. to stay within your credits and not have to pay oop. If not going into the parks on arrival day, you could check out DTD - Raglan Road - or Planet Hollywood - both take the DDXDP.

If you have left over snack credits, you can use them at main street bakery or at Goofys candy shop at DTD.

Have agreat time

Since you're trying to spread the credits over four days, I'm assuming you're arriving early & leaving late. If you don't want to use two credits the last day, you could try to do two 2 credit TS dinners or spread your times out and put in a lunch.

Day 1- Chef Mickeys (late breakfast)

Ohana's for supper

Day 2-

Crystal Palace for lunch (I would change this to a late breakfast if you like breakfast food or have a really early lunch & a late dinner)

You could use an extra credit here and try to get the castle or do the Hoop Dee Doo Revue if you like fried chicken & corny jokes.

Day 3-

Hollywood & Vine for lunch (I would switch this to a late breakfast or make sure lunch is really early so it is spaced out from dinner)

Askershus Royal Banquent Hall for supper (Princesses- yay!)

Day 4-

You've got two credits left to use this day. You could go to an early breakfast at AK's Tusker House and have a late lunch or early dinner at one more TS place.

I'm sure you'll get lots of suggestions for some great places to eat but this is how I would spread things out.

3 nights = 9 credits.

Day 1 - will you be here for lunch this day? If so, 1 credit
dinner - Ohana - sounds great. 1 credit.

Day 2 - snack credits for breakfast, or bring pop tarts/granola bars. Looks like this is your MK day so you'll want to make rope drop.
lunch - CP - 1 credit.
dinner - I'd schedule HDDR here if you can get it. If not, a signature on the monorail or at WL (short boat ride from MK). 2 credits.

Day 3 - Epcot day. Breakfast - snack credits or CS meal at your resort (snack if you used a meal credit for lunch Day 1; CS if you didn't).
lunch - Tutto if you really want Italian. But I'd suggest you look at Coral Reef or Biergarten for more unique atmospheres. I like the food at Biergarten a bit better. 1 credit.
dinner - Princesses, yay! 1 credit

Day 4 - which park are you going to? I'm going to assume you are staying beyond lunchtime but not beyond dinnertime; if that's wrong, please say so.
If you are going to HS I'd say for breakfast either H&V buffet or a TS breakfast at your own resort if available. For lunch, Sci-Fi. Total used 2 credits.
If you are going to AK then absolutely Tusker for breakfast. For lunch, either Rainforest or Yak & Yeti. Again, total used 2 credits.

Final total: 9 meal credits used.

Thanks guys! I love all the suggestions ! :) We are already going to be in town (doing Universal first and then staying elsewhere the day after our trip) so we will be at Disney bright & early on the 1st day and staying til the end on the last day :)

Ah! Then if the park hours work for you, I'd suggest:

Day 1 - AK
lunch - Tusker. 1 credit
dinner - Ohana. 1 credit. If your ADR is early and you have Hoppers, hit MK Main Street after dinner to watch Wishes. If not, watch from the beach at Poly. Or if your ADR is late, ask to sit where you have a window view and you can see Wishes while you eat.

Day 2 - MK
breakfast - snack credits
lunch - CP. 1 credit.
dinner - HDDR or a Signature. 2 credits.

Day 3 - Epcot
breakfast - snack credits
lunch - TS in WS; again, I would most recommend Biergarten. Anyhow, 1 credit.
dinner - Akershus Princess meal. 1 credit.

Day 4 - HS
breakfast - snack credits
lunch - Sci-Fi. 1 credit.
dinner - how about taking the boat from HS to the Epcot-area resorts for a final dinner? Cape May would be my choice. 1 credit. Buffet with both 'standard American' (ribs, chicken, carving station) and seafood (clams, mussels, unlimited crab legs)(especially the crab legs). You're close enough if you want to go back to HS after dinner for F!, or just take the boat back to pick up your car and move on to your off-site hotel.

Total 9 meal credits, with snack credits used for breakfasts.

Definitely try and squeeze in Hoop De Do Revue-it's so worth it!!

Also, if you go to Epcot, you may want to try Teppan Edo. It's a really cool dining experience.
