Need Some Logistical Guidance

My friend just told me that her adult son will not be able to come with us on our trip in October. He is in the military and will not be done with his current assignment in time for him to join us on the trip. Fortunately, she wants to "surprise" a dear friend of ours with the opportunity to take his place. (We are 99% certain she will say yes, so we are going forward with trying to figure out what needs to be done)

As the DVC member (and designated Disney planner), I need some help from the experts as I navigate this unfamiliar territory...
1) MDE: Does our friend have to create her own profile or can one of us create a profile for her and add her to our family list?
2) Tickets: How do we re-assign the Military Salute Ticket and the MNSSHP party ticket from son to friend? Can it be done online or do we have to call?
3) Park Reservations: I assume that the park reservations we've already made would not transfer if we reassign the ticket and we would need to make new ones for our friend, correct?
4) DVC Reservation: I know I need to change the name on the DVC reservation (and I plan to do this on the chat function), but does this need to be done BEFORE we transfer the tickets/park reservations, etc? I ask because it is very easy for me to do this now, but if I do it, and remove "son" from the reservation, that would also remove his park reservations and *if* they could be transferred, I don't want to lose them before *friend* has an MDE account and ticket transferred.
 
MILITARY TICKETS.... does the son have to be there to activate them ????
No, they were purchased from Shades of Green...specifically because we were not 100% sure he would make it home in time. Fortunately, my friend and her husband are also both retired military as well.
 
Park reservations are tied to the person so those can not be transferred. Once you transfer the ticket, they will disappear for him, but changing his status on the room doesnt matter,

You should be able to reassign the ticket via MDE to the new guest…unless the military tickets are different than regular ones.

You can create a profile for her in your F&F list.

Will she be the lead guest on the DVC reservation, or just a guest along with others in a villa? If lead, then yes you'll need to contact MS, but if she won't be the lead guest, you should be able to make that change online.

I don't think it matters, since transferring the tickets will cancel the park reservations.

I was able to go online and add her to the DVC reservation(s)...they have a split-stay. I successfully removed "son #1" and my friend was able to create an MDE profile for our friend and she successfully transferred the tickets to her. Then, she was also able to go and make park reservations for her too so that we are all aligned.

To make it even better, my friend changed her family's flight and now we are all flying together too!
