Would appreciate some info on the following restaurants and opinions from those who have eaten there.

Motown
Hardrock Cafe
Confisco Grille
Sunset Grill
Mythos

Where exactly are Mythos and the Confisco Grille located?

Do all the above restaurants take a reservation or a PS like Disney?

If you had to pick three out of these choices which would it be and why?

Thanks for the help.

Mythos no question... I know others will say the same thing.

We just got done a 14 day trip to Orlando, and Mythos was my best meal.

It is inside IOA, in the Lost Continent area, across from the Posiedons Fury attraction.

I know you can reserve, but we just wanted in last Thursday, at about 1230 and got sat right away.

A nod t Mythos great meals we ate there last weekend.

Where is Margaritville in all this? This is the best food in citywalk imo. The cheesburgers are great, the nachos WOW, and what about the that Margirita!!! Please reconsider adding this to your list.

I've eaten at both Hard Rock and Motown, and both were very good (Hard Rock borders on great!). Prices were very reasonable - comparable to Chili's, Applebees, etc. My biggest complaint at Hard Rock was that we kept on losing my husband - he tended to wander around the restaurant looking at all of the memorabilia on the walls! Service at both was excellent, music was a little on the loud side, but not deafening.

I agree with PartyofSix re: Margarativille - while I don't think I'd rate the food as high (of course, none of us had the cheeseburgers), the margaritas are excellent!

I can only vouch for Hard Rock (it is the only place we went to at City Walk). It is the same as any Hard rock I've eaten at, decent food, interesting things to look at. It is kid friendly, my kids always want to eat there if there is one around

Thanks

I appreciate you all sharing your views on the restaurants. I guess I'll now have to add Margaritaville. We'll be on Universal property for about five days and wanted to try different places.

Does anyone know if all these places take a PS or a reservation since we want to go for dinner and it is a holiday weekend so it will be busy?

Does Mythos close early or do they have dinner?

Anyone else have comments on these restaurants????

We were at Universal last weekend (PBH) and ate at Mythos, Hard Rock Cafe (twice) and Margaritaville. I would try all of these restaurants since you will be there for five days. - they are all great places to eat. We didn't have a bad meal the whole time (four days) we were in Orlando. We also ate at Boma at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Mythos will take a reservation (however, we didn't need it.) I don't know how late they are open, as we were there for lunch.

Have fun!

Definitely Mythos.
Hard Rock Cafe is good but LOUD.
We also really like the Latin Quarter at CityWalk.

MsDis LOL!
Mythos: Excellent, take your time here at lunch. Call to find out if they're open for dinner while you're there.

Confisco's grille: Very good, great service. Sit down meal for little more than counter service. Have a Confisco's creation(concoction?), it's a like a strawberry daquiri w/a little coconut.

Hard Rock: Very good food, resonable prices, fairly loud.

If you like Italian food, take the water taxi over to Mama Della's at the Portofino Bay Hotel. Great food and service (the timarasu is incredible! Oh yeah, they have marshmallow milkshakes too, mmmmmm). Make a reservation for a holiday

With only four nights it looks like we won't have enough days to try all these great restaurants. We'll just have to stay longer now.......

Forgot to ask...

Does anyone know how far in advance you can make a PS or a reservation for these restaurants?
