we have a carnival this friday.. and our class is lazy to say the least.. and i am one of three people who actually care if we make money or not.. and we only have a grand total of 95 dollars so we need lots.. so i was wondering if you guys had some carnival ideasss that we could doo

we are doing face painting but we need at least two more ideas

HELLP PLEASE!!!

one of the other classes took that from us we were originally going to then they took it=[ we were thinking about still doing quarter tooss though??

Yeah, I can see that.
And you should do pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey. So what if it's not carnival-esque? It doesn't get much better than that ;)

that would be a pretty awesomee idea!! haha my friend thinks we should do apple bobbing hahaha :rotfl2: with lots of ice cubes!!=]

Aww, apple bobbing! Fun times!

YOU SHOULD DO PUMPKIN BOWLING!

Ice cube bobbing? Oh count me in!

Uhh. For ideas... I don't really have any....

So... *Holdonletmethink*

Could you do a raffle for a prize that's nice, but inexpensive.. And charge, oh say... About a dollar for a ticket?

You'll get money..

haha juniors get raffle/ chinese auction =[ all the older ones get the good ideas.. like dunking booth.. whip cream pie tosses.. sponge throws.. velcrow wall.. we get left with not muchh

Our town had an autumn/Halloween Carnival two weeks ago. I will list the events in order of successfulnes. (if that's even a word!)
1. The Candy Web-Net was tied to a fence, and clothes pins were used to attach goodie bags filled with rings and pumpkin toys. (I recommend Oriiental Trading.) Even if you don't fill them all the way, use decent sized bags, as it fills the wall better. We got hundreds of customers.
2. The Wet Witch-I was the witch (warlock actually) and I had to wear a garbage bag, and stick my head into a hole in a painting. When my head was in, it was over a witch's body. (The kind of thing you take pictures in.) The little kids threw wet sponges at my face, and it was painful, but they looked like they enjoyed themselves. (The little stinkpots!) Almost as many customers as ^.
3. Face Painting- We had pirates, flowers, pumpkins, etc. Pretty busy.
4. Pumpkin Bowling, Sack Races, that kind of thing. We also did that thing where you pour paint into the spinny thing and it makes a picture. There were maybe 8 events such as these.
5. I don't think that Apple Bobbing is sanitary at a carnival. You have no idea who did it before you. We didn't do that at our carnival.

MAJOR success.

PM me if you want more specific details. BTW, I was a volunteer through Key Club, and got to do items 1 and 2. I only looked at the others, but they seemed to get steady business. And if it's a warm day like it was for us, definitely sell ice creams or snow cones.

Duck pond... lame, but a HUGE money-maker. Sucker pull... put little dots to signify prizes or not on the bottom of stick. Charge 25 cents per sucker. Always wins. XD

make the prize one of em big hurshy one puound bars those are like 5-10 dollors

Somekind of football toss? Football is still in season.. is it for younger kids? The boys would love that.. maybe hang a hula hoop then some kind of smaller hoop next to it for a small prize(candy) and a big prize(stickers, 2 pieces of candy, better candy.. don't know what's in your budget)

Decorate a cookie? Plain sugar cookies, orange icing, a few kinds of sprinkles, m&m's, and candy corn

Decorate a Halloween card? Have different shapes cut out in cards(ghosts, witch hats, pumpkins, bat, black cat, etc..) and let them decorate with markers, glitter glue, stampers, etc..

If you do a lollipop pull make ghost lollipops!

They're easy, cheap(lollipops, tissue, ribbon, and a black crayola marker!) and Halloween-y :)
