I am not a Disney Bride BUT I am going to honeymoon in WDW! After getting married at Jekyll Island under the live oaks this fall we are going to postpone our honeymoon until the first week of December. We have a magical story and I want to plan a magical honeymoon. Here are some of the things I planned see what you think.....

Our room is going to be decorated as a surprise! Thanks to Peggy at peggy's sweets and more!

Dinner at California Grill - hopefully, we can watch Wishes!

Lunch at Coral Reef with diver sign and personalized menu.

Candlelight Processional and Osborne Lights (not on same night)

MVMCP - he has never been to WDW for Christmas :santa:

Photo Session at Grand Floridian

And, yes, I am going to make him wear the Mickey ears top hat!

I think that is everything. We are staying at POFQ. We are staying 7 days but only going to the parks 4 days, 2 days we are going to goof off.

Oh, one more thing we aren't your typical newleyweds...we are 45 yo!

Do you have any other suggestions?? Anything would be appreciated! Thanks!

I know I always use this suggestion, but I'm super excited about it! :cool1:

Watch Wishes from a hammock on the beach at the Poly. :goodvibes

I say just have fun!!!!!!! Always wear your ears and pins!!!!

You will have so much fun!! Your plans sound GREAT! Def. wear the pins, you will get lots of congrats, in the very least. And just take time to take it all in and enjoy it, don't rush the whole time, which it sounds like you wont, only doing 4 park days. We went the 2nd week of Dec. this past year on our Disneymoon, and had the BEST time. Check out my TR if you want. And I'm from Georgia too! very cool.

Happy planning! This is a great place to find ideas and stuff!

Thanks for the ideas! I am looking into them all! I am so excited about this trip I have started thinking like a kid again....now, what kind of park treats do I want???? LOL!

I think I am going to steal Lurkyloo's hat design (if she doesn't mind) for our "ears" cause DF will come closer to wearing a ball cap around than he would a top hat.

Thanks again!!

Hillary I am going to checkout your TR! After 10 years of living in SC I am back home to stay! There's no place like home!! GEORGIA!

The horse and carriage ride at Port Orleans Riverside is so nice, too!! We did that one on our Honeymoon and really really enjoyed it! :lovestruc

Sounds like you have it all figured out! Just wear those ears and those buttons! :)

If you're a big fan of fireworks, and have a little extra cash to spend, do a Wishes or Illuminations Cruise. You can find people to share them with if you don't want to foot the whole bill, but they're very cool!!

That's true, too! On our last trip, I found some very nice people here on the DIS to share a Wishes Cruise with....total, there were 8 of us on the boat and each couple only paid $75.00 to ride!! It was very well worth it!

I am working on the Wishes Cruise! Thanks for the idea! I knew coming here would be a BIG help!!
