Need some help....

I have a pentax Optio60. I was trying to download pics to my computer. Everything opened up good in my E drive while I had the camera connected with the UBS cable. Then the cable got pulled from the camera while I was viewing the pics (short story, but I still love him). I went through the process again, but now pics will not not open. I get a message saying my E drive needs formatting. When I push o.k. get message that drive can't be formatted. Also getting message that there is an error in the I/O device. Anything I can do?

Your only hope would be to try a photo recovery program such as Lexar's Image Rescue. You can buy it and download it from their web site.
