I thought I had my mind made up about the Polynesian, but I am now having second thoughts. Were going to stay King Kamehameha Club, but now I wonder if I should do CR or GF. The CR would be the Tower club and GF would be the Royal Palm. We will be there from 1/13-1/16 and then we are transfering for 11 days to BCV. Any input would be grealty appreciated.
TIA
BTW- We are a family of 4 traveling. It is myself, DH, DD (5), and DD (3). I just wanted my family to experience a monorail resort for a few days.

My DH would say to stick with the Polynesian. I would go for the Royal Palm Club at the GF, but....the GF will be doing renovations beginning soon and I think that could have an impact on your visit. If that's the case, I'd stick with the Polynesian.

DH is concerned that if we stay at the Polynesian and he is not there than my little ones and will have a hike to the monorail. I will have to take a look at the map and see what the lay out is.

I have stayed at the Poly and you could stay close to the great Ceremonial House to be close to the monorail or the far end and be close to the TTC monorail. I had 3 kids with me 8 months, 4 and 6 and had no problems. It's really a beautiful resort. The pool has a zero entry that was great for my kids. There is also a kids water play area with the squirty floor things. We loved it and are doing a Poly/BC split starting on the 25th.

i think the Poly would be fabulous, i really do love it there. As regards to monorail, please remember there are 2 ways to get on from the Poly, at the Main House and at the TTC which is a two minute walk if you are that end of the Poly. But with conceirge i am sure you would be in Hawaii which would be very close to the Great Ceremonial House so not a problem at all:thumbsup2

I would stay at the Poly. We stayed in the Rarotonga (spell?) building when we were there and loved it. It's right next to the Great Ceremonial House, very convenient.

The one time I stayed at the GF I really didn't like it. The room was very noisy. We had a family next to us that was up at 6:30 a.m. and VERY loud. At the Poly it was very quiet. And our family of 5 fit very comfortably. That was even with a crib that the baby didn't use.
