Need some help with where to make ADR's

Hi there I'm brand new to DIS planning my very first trip to Disney I think I am more excited than my kids. I'm looking for some ideas for planning my ADRs I have me (38) DH 39 DS 6 DS 5 and DD 4 . Given their meltdowns without naps I dont think we will be able to make it back to parks at night so looking for good fun dinner ideas maybe where we can watch fireworks. Staying at POR Oct 29 - Nov 4th thanks !

Far as views for the fireworks you could do a late dinner at ohana's at Polynesian and ask for a window table book around and hour before wishes.You can also see the fireworks from the beach at the Polynesian if you did a early reservation.Other suggestion are based on if you wanted character dining and the type of food your family likes.If you give a little more detail that would help with the suggestions.

Our favorite character meals are Chef Mickey's (breakfast) at the Contemporary Resort, Crystal Palace (breakfast or lunch) in the Magic Kingdom, CRT (lunch or dinner) in the Magic Kingdom, and Garden Grill (dinner) in Epcot.

Tusker House (breakfast or lunch) in the Animal Kingdom also gets good reviews.

For non-character meals, my kids' favorite restaurants are Sci-Fi Dine In at Disney Studios & Whispering Canyon Cafe at the Wilderness Lodge.

Our family's favorite restaurant is 'Ohana at the Poly, & you can also see "Wishes" from there.

Other favorites include Boma at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, Kona Cafe at the Poly, Le Cellier at Epcot, Liberty Tree Tavern (lunch) in the Magic Kingdom, Tony's Town Square in the Magic Kingdom, & Yak & Yeti in the Animal Kingdom.

Have you thought about breaking in the middle of the day for a nap & then returning that evening for dinner & the different shows?
