We're going for 9 nights, and I'm having such a hard time picking our restaurants! Right now I have ADR's for all but two days, but I'm not totally happy with what we have so far. We're trying a couple of new places, but I still feel like we may be missing something. The only place we've been to and are going back to again is Kona - we're actually going back twice. :)

So, I guess my main questions are:

Is the Fantasmic package at HBD worth 2 credits? DD just turned 5 and I'm not sure if she's old enough to enjoy Fantasmic, which is the only reason we booked the package.

Should we try to fit in Narcoossee's somewhere?

How is WCC - is it worth the trip to WL?

And finally, is there any place we NEED to try?

That said, here's what I have so far:

Kona - Dinner (twice)
Hoop Dee Doo (will pay OOP)
HBD - Fantasmic Dinner
Crystal Palace (before MNSSHP)
Ohana - Breakfast
BOMA - Dinner
Le Cellier - Dinner
Crystal Palace - Breakfast

Last January was the first time my family and I have went to WDW. We are going back for free dining this year as well. The only TS that we ate at down there in January was the WCC and we all loved it. there were 8 of us total. 6 adults and 2 children ages 2 and 4. We each got the all you can eat skillet (I believe that is what it's called). I do not remember what the girls got. Well the youngest just ate off of all of ours. Both the food and atmosphere were great. This year for free dining we are trying out Kona, Boma, Ohana's, Concourse Steakhouse, Le Cellier, Restaurant Marrakesh, Chef Mickey's, 1900 Park Fare, Cape May Buffet, Sci-Fi and LTT. I CAN'T WAIT!!!

I think a five year old would enjoy Fantasmic. It's a great fireworks show. We have sat front row, and really liked it. We didn't do the package because we like to sit in the middle, front row, and I think, not 100% sure, the package section is all the way to the right of the theatre. If you don't mind getting there 1 hr. early, you could get a good seat. Just another thought.

I love Kona, I am their biggest fan! I see you have it down 2x for dinner, you could cancel one and try a different place. 'Ohana dinner(unless you have already been for dinner) is good also, and they have games for the kids. Great dinner. Just a thought.

We enjoy WCC, good southern kind of cooking. If you get a good server it is so much fun. If you don't you get to watch eveyone else have fun and you might have feelings of jumping your server at the end of the meal, beware. It happend to me. :sad2:

Must dos I think is The Castle at least onece if you have never been. Breakfast I think has the best food.

Good luck.

I'd pay OOP for the CP breakfast and either add Cali Grill during wishes, or only do Kona once and add 50's PT or Coral Reef (food at both are good i hear, but CR is very cool with the sharks and fish tank) Your DD will like both of them (CR is usually over 200.00 for a family of 4 to eat (including children) a lot of bang for a 1 ts credit :) )

I'm Not sure about the fantasmic show for a 5 year old, however we are going to disney this August and it will be our 4th time. We have not taken our DS 14 to the show before, this will be the first time this year and we have booked hollywood and Vine. (Yes there has been a lot of bad review, however everyone will have good and bad experiences, we are just going to give it a try. I dont think any meal is really worth 2 TS). Have you thought about Chief Mickey, Coral Reef or the Sci Fi dine. We are trying all three this year for the first time for two of them. I can give reviews on Chief Mickey. My son was the one that requested this one because we did it on our first vacation when he was 9 and had a great time and wanted to go back and try the breakfast this time. We did supper our first time.
