I have some questions I hope my fellow DIS board members can help me out with.

1. Which is better for lunch, either Finnegan's or Lombard's? We are not seafood lovers.

2. Is Mythos worth it for lunch?

3. We plan on having three dinners (moderate priced) which three would you choose from....Margaritaville, Motown, Latin Quarter or Mama Della's? If you have any other suggestions we'd welcome them.

4. What type of food doesThe Kitchen in HRH serve?

5. How far in advance can you make priority seatings at these restaurants?

Thanks

Can't answer all your questions, but I hope I can help some!

1.) Finnegan's, definitely. I think Lombard's is pretty much seafood (?) but Finnegan's is a great restaraunt. Just don't order the side of bread. :crazy2:

2.) I hear it is, but have never tried it, myself.

3.) Have eaten at Margaritaville and Motown. Out of those two, I'd say Margaritaville. More choices in food there, and has the Volcano!!! ;)

Everyone has different tastes. I MUCH prefer the food at Lombard's rather than Finnegan's.
Mythos is my FAVORITE restaurant at Universal. The menu is the same for lunch and dinner.
We've always really enjoyed our meals at the Latin Quarter. Haven't been to Mama Della's or the Kitchen. There is a menu posted for the Kitchen somewhere on these boards.

The Kitchen has American fare with a gourmet flair. Very good. I'd recommend it. We spent $100 ($85 food & drink, $15 tip) for two people. This included one appetizer, one salad, two entrees and 2 or 3 drinks.

On City Walk we love Margaritaville and NBA City. We have had dinner at Mythos. We had great food and the atmosphere was great. The drinks were pretty weak, if you care about such things. DH liked the wings at Finnegans, otherwise, we did not have any food there.

2.mythos is definetly worth it!! go go go!!

3. margaritaville her in new orleans is awesome....im sure its the same in orlando. nba city was pretty good...and the lady who worked in the HRH lounge said that motown is the only onsite resaurant that she does not recommend because the food is not all that great and the service is horrible....but i do not personally know. her opinion swayed us

4. the kitchen was excellent!! its basically american food...and it is delicious!!

Thanks for all the information. Now we have to narrow our choices down.

Does anyone know how far in advance you can make a priority seating at these restaurants?

1. We prefer Lombard's, but we really love their seafood. Really nice atmosphere too.

2. We always have lunch at Mythos. We do a light breakfast, then have lunch at Mythos around 11:30 AM. After Mythos, we go to Poseiden, as it is not a thrill ride, but, since you are on your feet, you don't get sleepy either. Since we always have dinner after the parks close, the bigger meal at Mythos for lunch helps us make it to an 8 or 9PM dinner.

3. ALWAYS Mama Della's. Very good Italian food, wonderful atmosphere, and, of course, it's in PBH, which is where we stay. After dinner at Mama's: a nice, long walk around the hotel, followed by a gelato for dessert ;) .
Margaritaville is also an excellent choice.

4. Haven't tried it yet.

5. I believe up to (30) days.
