Need some help with an ADR

My DH, DD5 and I are going to visit WDW in December. My nephew and his wife and their 8 month old daughter are going to drive over from Melbourne on the 29th of December to have dinner with us. We tend to be fairly adventurous in terms of eating, while they are not. My nephew reminded me that he didn't do spicy food. Added to this is the fact that we will be limited to hotels or DTD since they won't have park tickets. I was thinking about trying for an ADR at Yachtsman but to be honest, we already have ADRs for Le Celliar and Jiko (the fillet with red wine reduction:banana: ), so the thought of yet another steak dinner doesn't do much for us. Spoodles was another idea, but it's a bit "adventerous" for DN and his wife. I'd welcome suggestions (Please note - the suggestion that I bail on dinner with DN, while probably the best one, is just not going to work from a family standpoint, if you know what I mean. But I appreciate the thought. ) for a restaurant with interesting, but non-spicy, food at one of the hotels.

What about a buffet?
Chef Mickey's at Contemporary or 1900 Park Fare at Grand Floridian

That way, there are lots of options plus some character interaction.

I second Chef Mickeys and 1900 Park Fare.

Some other restaurants (I'd definitely check the DIS menus first!):

~~Kona Cafe in Poly (too adventurous?)
~~Cape May Buffet at BC - something for everyone from clams to chicken and BBQ ribs and I believe sliced beef/prime rib when were were there last
~~Whispering Canyon Cafe - this won't be a quiet dinner, tho - but fun!

Good luck - with your restaurant choice and dinner!

I agree with Chef Mickey's, Park Fare,Wispering Canyon, and Cape May.

I am going to mention Ohana's. It means family. The food is all you can eat and served family style. During dinner there is themed entertainment as well!

Another vote for 'Ohana at the Poly! And if you time it right you can catch wishes.

You could look at the Yacht Club Galley. Right next door to the Yachtsman Steakhouse. It does have steak on the menu but also has a half a chicken, delicious clam chowder, and Boston creme pie for dessert. Outside a park and not really adventerous food.

Since you have a DD5...1900 PF gets my vote!!!

Other good choices:
WCC
Chef Mickey's (this place is so loud, that if their baby cries..no one will hear her anyway!)
