Hi,
We are headed to WDW in a couple of weeks, and will be visiting Sea World, Aquatica, Wet & Wild & US/IOA this time - are staying on property but will have a car -

SO - I am interested in some dining ideas for dinner between WDW and the other parks.

I know about Bahama Breezes, but what else is in the area thats not yucky??

TIA

Sweet Tomatoes on I-Drive/Kirkman Rd junction is certainly worth a visit. It is one of our favs and the kids love it even though it is a salad bar! :thumbsup2
Lots of nice fresh salads (buffet style) and then there is a never ending supply of fresh home-made soup, breads, a few pasta dishes, fruit and ice-cream (with toppings). Here a link to their website http://www.soupplantation.com/ Prices are less than $10 per adult

Universal Orlando has many restaurants to choose from. I'd eat at CityWalk or in the parks, when visiting there. Mythos in IOA has a great atmosphere. You could also easily go to one of the UO resorts to eat, if you were so inclined. With the exception of Emeril's, CW's restaurants are more reasonably priced that most places at WDW.

There is pretty much all of the run of the mill resturants there. All the one's you'd find around your hometown's near the mall. So, the dining options really are endless. Also, it seems that the Ponderosa and Golden Corral's are both a bit bigger there than they are up here.

Mall of Milliea - or however they spell it has Cheesecake Factory, P.F. Changs, etc. two of our favs. Votes also for Sweet Tomatoes, Orlando Ale House (LBV), and Giordano's for pizza. Heard Flipper's pizza at Crossroads was good, too.

We usually enjoy places like Sweet Tomatoes, Cheesecake factory, Olive Garden, TGI Friday and Sizzler.:)

We eat at Kobe every time we drive. This is our absolute favorite restaurant. We don't have a Kobe near home so this is a special treat when we visit Disney. The food is terrific. The staff is great. The cost is a little high but it is cheaper than the Hibachi grills near home... and the portions are huge! Go there hungry!

Go into Celebration for dinner. It is a great little town with multiple restraunts. They have rockers out by the lake and play fountains for the kids. I would recommend Celebration town tavern, very much like a boston tavern. The Market Street Cafe is also good.

CityWalk at Universal has a lot of restaurants to choose from -- Emeril's (our favorite), Bubba Gump Shrimp, Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville, NBA City, Nascar Sports Grille, etc.

Speaking of Celebration, how is the Columbia Restaurant there. Ours, in Tampa, is fabulous! If Celebration's is as good, it's definitely worth the short drive there.

Mimi's Cafe down by Mall at Millenia
Vito's on I-Drive
Friday's is right there off the I-4 exit
the Bistro McDonald's on I-Drive is fun for kids and has way more stuff than any McD's I have ever been to
Medievel Times for dinner show
Arabian Nights for dinner show

We love it! We always eat lunch there when we visit Celebration.

What are the prices like at Bahama Breezes?

On the ? about Bahama breezes, i was able to download their menu (there is a PDF link on the website) that had prices.

There are some really nice restaurants on Sand Lake Road. The locals call this area restaurant row. Season's 52; Moonfish; Roy's to name a few. In Celebration, Columbia is very good as is cafe D'Antonio and Celebration Town Tavern.
