My family and I (4yo and 1yo) have always stayed in at least a 1 bedroom because we love the convenience of the full kitchen. Due to a points squeeze we wanted to book a studio for a second trip in May. The good news was that we got a AKV Concierge studio for five of our days in May last minute. We figured that this would make not having the kitchen little easier. Now I have been reading a little about the Concierge level and have read several people talking about special things the Concierge can do to make the trip a little more special. What should I try to arrange and what would any one with experience recommend. I have already contacted the IPO office regarding when I can book the sunrise safari.

thanks in advance

they can make all you ADRs for you. you can give them your list, and they will do the booking right at the 180 day mark for you. The sunrise safari is Awesome! Be sure to get that if you can and make sure you have your camera ready.

will the sunrise safari let us take our 1 year old. It lists prices for 3 years old plus. I assume they would let him come and sit on my lap but I might be wrong.

Joining this thread too. We just booked club level. Yea! Will they contact us when it is time?

Based on my recent experience, you should get an email from the Concierge staff a couple of weeks before the 180-day mark before your stay. The email will give you details on the Sunrise and Wanayama Safaris and links to other activities. You can either call or email your reservation requests -- I sent an email the day before the 180-day mark, and they took care of things at the first opportunity.

has anyone ever requested something special for their kids that could be fulfilled here and not at a standard room (ie something in the room waiting for them at arrival.) Or something special for their wife (ie something romantic, flowers etc...)

I once had stuffed dolls from one of the Tv shows on at the time waiting in the room on their bed. They were in love ! Presents from Mickey !

I called concierge staff regarding our April 6-10 stay and they said we could book the sunrise safari at the 200 day mark thru them. I have April 10th booked for my 65th birthday.

Not at AKV, but at a BC concierge level stay, on our first trip, I had pins & lanyards, stuffed animals, balloons & cards from Mickey and the princesses waiting for the kids at check-in. The IPO even shopped for me. The balloons & cards were pixie dust and I paid for the rest. But it was well worth it to see the looks on their faces.
