Need some cologne recommendations.

Yeah, I've used that Adidas cologne for awhile (go ahead, laugh), and want something new. Can any of you recommend me some nice smelling cologne for guys that doesn't cost a fortune?

Pierre Cardin. It's not too expensive, but not so common that every other guy will smell exactly the same

If price is a concern, I don't know if your mom/dad has a bjs/sams club card, but they usually have some colognes at great prices!

Curve, Adidas, etc, are VERY popular with teenagers and 20-somethings, try something different that will stand out.

I like Platinum by Chanel, and Pi...I think Givenchy makes it. My husband wears these, and other women walk by him, smell him, and come back to find out what he has on so they can buy it for their boyfriends.

In my opinion, the BEST cologne (my boyfriend is 20 and he wears it) is FCUK...no I did not just curse...its French Connection UK. Another popular one is Polo Sport.

DH wears Cool Water by Davidoff, and it definitely does not smell like an "old guy". You should go to a department store where they sell men's cologne, they have sample bottles there that you could try on. Don't spray too many at once or you won't get the true scent.

Another thing to keep in mind: Each scent smells a little different on every guy. If you are having trouble finding the "right one", see if you can get any samples to bring home and try one a day or something, see how people like it.

Looking at my current rotation I have and recommend:

Polo Blue (not the Sport it is like the original green bottle, but blue)

Giorgio Armani
Cool Water
XS
PS (Paul Sebastian - a little older/mature scent, but not quite old spice)


I also have a bottle of Issey Miyake, but I'm not thrilled with how it works on me.

I've listed them pretty much iun order of preference, although my DW likes Cool Water best.

Check out http://www.sephora.com/. Has lots of Men's colognes, and you can read descriptions of all of them. You'd be surprised by reading a description how you can find something that fits you. Sorry though, I can't reveal which ones I wear!

manda1219 is right every scent is different when mixed with
your own body.Take a close female friend with you while you
shop for the right one .I love colone on men i love tommy which
is expensive but it lasts a long time.I also love the gier colone
from norway at epcot also expensive.

POLO... I used to wear that in high school (83) I didnt think they still made it. My current is Aqua di Gio, dont know if its the in thing or old but I liked the smell nothing over powering and clean.
