Need some Cabin advice

We are long time Fort campers but usually pull our camper down. We will be first timers staying in one of the cabins in September and need some advice. We LOVE the campsites that sit along the canal. We have so many great memories of watching the wildlife along the canal each day from these sites. I was wondering if any of the cabins have a good view of the canal. I do see that a few of the cabins along the 2300 loop sit on the canal but I can't tell from pictures or videos if you can even see the water. Has anyone stayed in a cabin along the canal? What was it like? Could you actually see the water or any wildlife along the canal? Which cabins are your favorites and which would you stay away from if given a choice? Thanks so much!

I can't answer your question about what you would see as when i stayed in the 2300 loop we were across the road. But we did love the 2300 loop as it was a small loop so it didn't take any time to get in or out off the loop. Will you have a golf cart? If you do then any loop is good. If you don't and need to take the internal busses I would recommend the 27 or 2800 loop as they are walkable to the Outpost and you would only need to take the internal bus to the Settlement to get to MK. Unless the bus was right at the bus stop we would walk to the Outpost and almost always got there quicker then waiting for the next bus.
